Zoot Woman is a three-man pop group that owes as much to Hall & Oates as Pet Shop Boys. Stuart Price (bass) met brothers Johnny (guitar, vocals) and Adam Blake (keyboards) while at school in Reading, England. Though the group's basic setup is much like a rock band, electronics play a significant role in their sound. They began recording during the late '90s but didn't make their full-length debut until 2001; signed to Wall of Sound, Living in a Magazine came first, while a self-titled -- and more organic -- follow-up came in 2004. They've released several singles, most of which have featured club-oriented remixes from the likes of Todd Edwards, Le Knight Club, and Paper Faces.

While the group has gained a significant amount of notoriety across Europe, Price's DJ, production, and remix work as Les Rhythmes Digitales and Jacques Lu Cont (including time spent with Madonna, No Doubt, Cornershop, and Goldfrapp) might be known to more people overall.

hey guys. welcome to the tracksandfields.com blog. if you did not
check out our website so far, we are a brand new community for
musicians and producers from all over the world. Here you can
collaborate on new songs together, get feedback on your work-in-
progress, share some samples with your friends or let the community
make some great remixes of your tracks. we also got a 8 track online
sequencer that lets you create new music with your busy and far-away
friends right now.

at the moment we are busy with our site. still working and improving
it. in the next couple of weeks we are expecting loads of new people
that are join our community and of course a lot of new created artist.
Celebrating yesterdays Khan of Finland album release, we are calling
for a Khan remix contest. If you're not familiar with him, all we can
say is he really never rests. Born Can Oral, Khan is an extremely
prolific producer and a restless vagabond. He's a world resident
(currently based in Berlin, after previously residing in New York,
Mexico, Cologne and Finland) who has produced electronic music under
at least 10 pseudonyms and collaborations (including Bizz OD, 4E, El
Turco Loco, Captain Comatose, Kid & Khan).Khan is providing us the
samples of his song „"got to" and will choose the best remix out of
all entrants, which will be featured on his sites and considered for a
release on his own label "I'm Single"“.

We are excited about the remixes and what's going to happen the next
